Report from Christmas lunch, 14th December 2008.
As tradition dictates we enjoyed the hospitality of the Trident Hotel in Kinsale for our final event of the year, the Christmas Lunch. This event was one of the best attended so far, and we were delighted to welcome new members Derek and Emer with their very smart S-Type who made a long journey to join us. The supply of new cars continued with Pat and Mary who brought along their 1968 Daimer 420 - which, remarkably was driven straight from Oxfordshire the previous evening without incident! As our last get together of the year came to a close and various spot prizes were distributed, we reflected on the fact that 2008 had been a tremendously successful year, and looked forward to continuing this great club in 2009 and well beyond.
