Sunday the 17th was the
date for our meeting the Dublin members of the IJDC in Rosslare
harbour. Well, the Irish Submarine Club would have been more
appropriate considering the weather we got, but we were undeterred!
It’s times like this when we are subsequently joined by some
Australian members of the XK club in open, or very non-weather proof
cars, that we feel bad for complaining!
What a selection they brought with
them! It’s not often that you see XK120 chassis No.4, or get to
meet well known XK author Terry McGrath. Great day all round in the
(formerly) sunny South East!
