trip to Youghal, East Cork, 30th May 2010.
On the 30th May, some of the Cork members made an impromptu trip to
the Youghal Car Show, which proved to be a very enjoyable day. Some
150+ cars participated and this is an event that we might consider
for our own calendar next year. The members were particularly
pleased with the organisation of the show, and of course the piece
de resistance was that our members, Barrie and Noelle Graham, took
home the cup and prize for the best car of the show for his
magnificent XK120 roadster. Our club was well-represented with a
1962 Mk2, 1965 S Type, a 1973 Series 3 E Type, a 1974 Series 2 XJ6
4.2, as well as the 1953 XK120.
