JEC Minutes of Meeting                                                                 October / November 2009

1)  Jaguar Ireland, hope to announce a new dealership in Cork before Christmas.

2) September trip to Sneem report. Everyone was impressed by the friendly efficient service good food spacious rooms and lovely views at “The Sneem Hotel”.

3) Discussed ideas for places to go to on weekend trips in 2010. Kilkenny and a return to Sneem were mentioned.

4) Discussed more on the four day trip abroad idea, this time on basing ourselves in Bath, England.

5) Novembers meeting was held at Jonathon  & Erin’s house, and we thank  them for their hospitality.

6) An informal Jaguar night was held on Saturday 28^th Nov at El Vino’s restaurant in the Elysian Tower.  15 members attended for a really lovely meal and a great craic.  After the meal, all converged on the Clarion Hotel for a few social beverages.  Thanks to Marion McCarthy for organising the night with special thanks to Mary O’Brien (who initiated the idea).

7) Christmas lunch will be held at the Trident Hotel, Kinsale on Sunday 13^th December. We will meet at 12.30pm for lunch at 1.00pm.  Hope to see the usual great support for this very popular event in the JEC calendar
