The first meeting of the club for 2010 took place at our secretary's house (Tim and Marion). The meeting was of a more social than business nature, and the committee decided to have a meeting the following Wednesday 3rd Feb to further discuss the calendar of events and other issues relating to the club. The calendar of events is now here on the web-site.
Members will be aware that the Kinsley Hotel, which was the home of the club for a number of years, suffered substantial water damage during the flooding of Cork in late November, early December 2009, and it now looks doubtful as to whether the meetings can continue to be held there. A venue of the Viaduct Bar, Bandon Road has been suggested, and all going well, from March next our meetings will be held there on the last Wednesday of each month.
