January 25th 2012 Club Meeting Minutes:
1) Report on the Christmas lunch at the Trident Hotel, Kinsale.
This years lunch will be on 9th December, venue to be announced.
2) Discussion about the possibility of post classic cars having to be taxed, even if they are off the road.
To be investigated and reported back.
3) Cars over ten years old will now have to be NCT'd annually.
4) Instead of the rolling 30 year old qualification for a car to be regarded as "Classic"
for road tax purposes, has changed to 1981 cars or older.
5) Discussion on the Adare Festival of Speed.
6) 21st March, technical night.
7) 14th April. Weekend in Ballylickey at the Seaview Hotel.
8) 26-27th May. Youghal Classic Car Show.
9) 9th June. American Car Show at the Viaduct Bar on the Bandon rd.
10) 25th August. Weekend in Clare, possibly at the Dunraven Arms Hotel.
11) 9th September. Joint meeting with the I.J.D.C. for lunch possibly at the Cashel Palace Hotel.
12) Note; Other one day runs might also be added to the list, for example a run from Mizen Head to Malin Head.
